Kids are so cute!!!!
I was studying in the chart room when a 20-something year old guy came in with this whole group of kids-they were his nieces and nephews. Think the max age for the kids were like 8? 9? So anyway, all the boys are so cute!!! One little boy started crying, "I want mummy! I want mummy!" And the kids were yelling and making a whole lot of noise. One gd thing was tt I just finished studying so i won't tt irritated with them. Then another little boy(think he was the oldest there) turned to me and said, "Sorry for disturbing you!" So cute!!! I was smitten.. hahaha... I wanna have a little boy too... SO CUTE!!
The uncle was trying to get them to sit around the coffee table and locate where they were on the map but the kids didn't want to listen to him. They were too busy yelling out what they wanted to do instead and complaining that there was no place to sit. So the uncle said, "Okok, you all sit. I'll stand." Hahaha... by the way, the uncle speaks with an accent? American? dunnoe.. and he's pretty cute and really gd with the kids. Another little boy was even cuter!!!! He was talking admist the yelling, "I don't want to do anything! I want to listen to gugu!" Hahahaha.. So cute lohz! Isn't he just an angel? Hiaz...
Noise from little ones are better than no noise at all. It's the sound of new life, the sound of cheer and vitality. The innocence, fun, joy and laughter of a child is a glorious thing.
I love children and I used to want two. Haha.. now, the more the merrier. Of cos, these things are not up to us.. I'll probably be an indulgent parent who spoils her kids rotten but I believe in 'Spare the rod and spoil the child'. Children should be taught and disciplined since young. That way, they will be more obedient when they are older...

GP lecture today
Hmm... today's GP lecture was pretty interesting.
I've come to realise how much i can't stand the library teacher.. Her voice is so freaking annoying! It's like a kind of breathy voice that seems so weak and vulnerable, the type that screams, "Help me! Save me! I'm just a weak and defenceless woman!" The hilarious part was when nobody wanted to answer her question and she was like "Soo Guan! Can u help me?" With the breathy, vulnerable voice of hers, I think most people found the situation highly amusing.
The way she lectures is so odd too! I mean, most teachers will look at you when they lecture right?(You, being a general term, referring to the students) But no... She looks at... what? I have no idea too.. She just keeps staring at a place between Nep and this s62 girl.. not at them, between them.. and height wise, not even at the person behind them.. She was like, staring into space while she lectures or sumthing..
The way she talks is like an insult to our intelligence too. I have a feeling that she was simplifying things so that we can understand the GP stuff better but it's like belittling us. She kept stopping when she barely talked about anything to ask if we can understand what she's saying. The problem with this, is that she barely even started lecturing so what's there not to understand? Sheesh..
What I can't most about her is her eyes. She's weird yanoe. I saw her in the cafe once when she was sitting by herself at the teachers' table near the drink machine and she was looking at a particular student with like, slanted eyes. It's kinda hard to describe and I can't think of how to say it. A bit like, diao people that kinda look, or in chinese, it's like something bai yan, i think. I mean, what's her freaking problem? Look at people like that for wat? The student didn't notice but i pity the poor kid.. Dunnoe wat's wrong with her attitude..
And she's MARRIED! Can you believe that? Either her husband is those macho, willing to rescue the damsel in distress type of person or esle I dunnoe how he is able to stand her.

Fate is interesting..
Often have I wondered what life would have been like if it weren't for fate.
What if...
I had not approached Amanda in Primary one orientation and asked her to be my partner? Would we have been so close like today? After all, we were in the same class from primary one to six. Would we have been able to maintain our friendship and tell everyone that we have known each other for eleven years?
What if..
My dad had listened to my mum and bought a house in Dover Road? Would I have gone to Fairfield Primary instead of Swiss Cottage Primary? Would I have missed out on knowing all my present primary sch friends? Missed out on knowing such great people? Or would I have known equally nice people like Gloria?
What if...
I had not listened to my parents and had put MGS instead of SCGS as my first choice sch in Primary six? Would I have missed out knowing fantastic people like Rui Zhi, Kai Jun, Alicia and Siow Chien? Or people like Julie, Eliza, Agnes, Wei Zhen...? Or would I have been closer to Jojo in MGS or have even known Shu Yun in Secondary sch?
What if...
I had not gone to the cruise in Sec one and had gone for my guides orientation? After all, I did make it through the guide interview (There were too many people who wanted to be a guide.)Would I have made some great friends in guides? Gone to the NDP for marching? Gotten an A for my CCA record?

Happy~
Lalalal~ I'm feeling all cheery and chirpy now cos I just spent ten dollars of my allowance on canned food. Why? Tt's cos my sch is doing some service learning thingy whereby we help people by doing them a service. Anyway, they were calling for canned food donations cos apparently only 9 cans have been donated by students so far. Tt's so sad.. but considering most of the students go to sch by bus.. It's insane to carry like, five cans in your bag..
So anyway, I didn't bring any today cos I forgot all about it. I remembered this time!(of cos, it helped tt someone msged me to bring canned food.. not sure who.. yanyin? renita? one of the students who's doing the canned food donation thingy.. ) So I went to NTUC at like 9.15pm, worried tt it was closing.. but sheesh.. there were still people browsing the aisles.. Wandered the aisles, frantically searching for the canned food section.. When I found it, the next thing was, "What do I buy?" hahaha.. My sch needs abt 600 cans so i decided to buy small cans... No1, easier to pack, No2, fits my budget more. So I picked out 4 cans of mushrooms and 4 cans of condensed milk.. I mean, tt's what people usually buy for donations rite? I was thinking of getting rice, but they said canned food.. so rice is out.. It's probably out of my budget range anywae.. I wanted to get luncheon meat but i didn't noe how to check the expiring date.. The print was so blurry and with the layer of dust on the top of the can, I wasn't sure if it was wise to buy tt.. Thought of canned sausages next but one can was like *gasp* $3! Hahaha.. So in the end, I got 3 cans of baked beans.
Came home, dug around in the cupboard for a few cans of campbell soup and a few cans of fruit. But, the plastic bag in the my mum's car makes me happiest the most! Call me childish, call me immature, but if I'm happy helping others, let me be. Generousity should come from the heart. That's also one reason why i don't like the NKF performances tt much, besides the fact that the stunts are always too dangerous. If people want to give, they will, no matter how difficult the times are.
As for me, I give because I can.

Blogging
Lalalal... I can't be bothered with the stoopid midi thing.. I just can't get it to show.. plus midis sound weird.. and i can't get hold of songs.. so plans for a nicer blog will have to be put on hold for now. Blogging takes up too much time.. Since I've began this 'project', I've spent more than 12 hrs on it.. and considering only 3 days has passed.. tt's probably a great waste of 12 hrs.. with 5 weeks to prelims.. tt's valuable time that has gone poof!
So anyway.. nothing much happened in sch today.. Praeman was absent so first period was free... spent the next two periods in lab drawing my oh-so-beautiful lillium flower bud and used up like half an eraser to fake my drawing... Math was ok.. which reminds me tt I ahve tut 33 and njc paper to do.. Chem was ok.. need to bring eletrolysis notes tmw and once again, the teachers have kindly reminded us that prelims are drawing near.. GP was pretty slack cos it's only one period long.. Math NYJC paper was ok.. Nep, Engz and I were a bit siao! Aiyohz.. Engz! Who ask u to go and kope your nephew's pen... when u click the pen, the hands on the dinosaur move up and down.. It's so cute and funny.. ahahha.. Look at Engz and u'll laugh already... Came home, wasted time online.. fell asleep.. Now online again.. better go and do my hw now.. I have a future to think of.. Hahahah

Fiction for the literary starved
Okok.. Most people whom I've 'asked' to come and read my blog have exclaimed over how long my entrys are.. Very long meh? hahaha.. ok watz.. But anyway, let me give you a brief introduction into my reading habits.

They're wat i call brainless books cos u basically dun need a brain to figure out the eventual plot. Then why read this type of books then? JC life is too exhausting to immerse myself in a thriller or some autobiography during school term but I need fiction. Life is meaningless without fiction and imagination. With no dashing Prince Charmings in sight, my trashy romances keep me occupied.
- fanfiction
Ok, for the uninitiated, fanfiction = fan + fiction. It's basically fiction written by fans of something. It could be of a book series like 'Harry Potter' or an anime like 'Prince of Tennis' of 'Naruto' or even of a television series like 'Buffy the vampire slayer'. All fanfiction requires is a willingness to put your imagination into words.
When I'm in a mood for a nice long read, I'll go the the section for the number of words in a story and click >5000 and I read stories with a minimum of 5000 words. Shocking! There are actually people who write fics that are so long? Yesh, my dear darlings, but of course you can find shorter fics as well. However, to find brilliant fics with great plot development, those with more words are usually better. I mean, a novel by... John Grisham, is more than 5000 words too watz.. Well, here are some recommendations of fics if you have the time or the inclination to read. These are some of my favourite stories and don't worry about the length of it.

Another fantastic fic. This is one story that had me holding on my breath as i read the story. Certain sections had me reading it aloud as the author was wonderful in her portrayal of the characters. I've never loved Draco Malfoy as much in another fic before. This author's stories are brilliant but I'm a Draco/Ginny shipper so I like this story the best. [PG-13]

Than Htike came to Singapore on 6th July
After dling the softwares, repeated scratching of my head and numerous questions marks popping out ard my head, I made it! I finally figured out how to upload the photos.. Sheesh.. Now, why didn't i think of goint to hello help earlier.. hahaha..
Photos are when I met than htike on 6th July at swensens. I was like stunned when i saw him. Oh manz! He looks so different now! I wouldn't know tt he was my pri sch mate if I walked passed him in Orchard.. Now, I'll know lahz, but tt's different. Cal looks the same, I see him all the time.. hahah.. Whenever Amanda and I go out, we will somehow bump into him when he's on hols.. Meeting Junyi was hilarious. He was walking towards me and I found him vaguely familar. The same goes for him but we weren't sure whether it was the correct person or not. I mean, quite paiseh if u apporach the wrong person rite? Then we stopped next to each other and he was like, "Jasmine?" Hahah.. so i turned to him and said, "Junyi." That was so amusing.. Then we all went to Swensens.. ate, talk and reminisced abt pri sch. Amanda and Junyi started "quarrelling" and kept calling each other Satan.. aiyohz.. those two ahz? Enemies in their past lives ahz? Then we were talking to Than Htike(honestly, it's kinda odd calling him than htike when he doesn't look like than htike.. Pierre seems to suit him more now). Oh yeah, he gave Amanda the things she asked him to buy at Animate FOC lohz.. So generous rite? Nice fella but better be careful you don't get cheated hor.. Others out there may not be as nice as us. Well, when we may hols at the end of this yr or next yr, Amanda and I will go visit Cal and Than Htike in Australia! Hopefully anyway, meanwhile, I shall continue saving money... haha..

HALF DAY today!!
Ok.... Let's see... This shall be the first entry in my blog so what shall I say? I'm not angsty like some people, not perverts like others, not as innocent as some may think, not as evil as others may perceive. So.. Let's start off with a summary of my day..
There's half day today!!!! Yeah!! Although I found out about this half day thing(due to cricket getting first) on wed but hey, a half day's a half day so i can enjoy myself!! Haha..
There's was an announcement that we were supposed to go to the library to collect our PW files so I went with Wan Jing and the rest of the groups in my class to get it. To my horror/surprise/shock(!), our PW file is now placed on a library shelf as a reference file for PW!! *gasp* Hahaha.. It's kinda cool acutally. I mean like, "Wah, zai! Our project work so gd ahz?" then after that my next thought was tt "Oh no! Then the J1s will see the crap tt I came up with and all the last minute rush work!!" Hahah.. Two files from my class is used as reference files so all right!! After all, SA had 36 band 1s for PW, four of which were from my class. *grinz*
After sch, I went out with Gloria and Nep to Clementi to eat porridge.. Food was ok, more fun to eat with the you tiao but the liver in the porridge was gross.. next time, I shall do without it.. It's like so freaking thick! *gag*
Then I met Justin(my jiejie) at Clementi Macs to go to the Bras Basah's popular to look for the Bio option book. Muahahha.. I got Justin to buy a chocolate voucher!! Alright!! Now, I have four more to sell! One is going to be sold to my mum's fren, one(hopefully) to my sister's bf (I mean, he can like, spend it on her rite? See.. I'm so thoughtful!) *grinz*, I'll buy one myself.. so tt leaves.. one more!! heh heh.. hmm.. who shall tt go to? Who's my next victim? *evil laughter* Then Justin and I walked ard Suntec and he kept making me diss pple(one person actually)... Cham lahz.. I'm so evil too.. keep feeding justin information and photos.. hahah.. I should feel SOOOO guilty really, except I don't.. CONSCIENCE??!?!? come out come out wherever you are!!! Justin, you devil incarnate!! What have you done with me!! hahah..
Walk..walk.. walk... bored so I went to buy royce chocolate for my sister.. Poor dear got stung by a bee this morning.. buy chocolate for her and comfort her lohz.. plus, I can eat it too! Haha.. I'm currently at a stage whereby my sister and I are friends and I love to spoil her (esp if I have spare cash..). So Justin and I were trying out the chocolate and the chocolate is really rich and good although you have to be rich to buy tt chocolate too but hey, not everyday buy waatzz... So cool lohz! They packed it with dry ice to keep it cool for 5 hrs! and then you have to keep it in the fridge.. It's wrapped in some shiny silver packaging to keep out the heat.. radiation and all tt.. I think they offer free wrapping too.. zai rite? oh cos.. $12 sumthing for a box of chocolate, they better offer the best service! hahah..
Aiyohz.. then Justin and I dunnoe how to go home.. (me actually, I dragged Justin to pei wo.. hahah.. using the excuse tt my 'jiejie' must look after me.. hehheh).. Walk, walk, walk.. walk all the way to national library from Suntec.. sheesh huh? hahah.. I'm stoopid watz.. dun take bus type.. nearest mrt is orchard... ask me to take mrt from cityhall to orchard, waste my time ahzz... just find the bus stop to take my straight bus home lahz!! Met two of my sister's friends today. It's weird manz.. and most of the time, they are the ones who recognise me and I'm like, oh hi.. hahah.. they'll probably bring up the argument tt I look like my sister.. which the whole world with the exception of my sister and I, thinks so as well... Hiaz...
Got home and decided tt i was bored so i began blogging.. Tata~ This is the beginning of my blog and it's all about me and wat I do, and the people in my life. If anyone needs to have a good laugh, you're welcome to read my blog and tag.. (As soon as I figure out how to work this whole blog thingy)
