Should we then convert to electronic means?

Emails?
Soft-copy documents?

Will it help save the earth?

Or..

Will the impact of using computers to check emails and prepare documents use more electricity instead? Resulting in more fossil fuel burnt and more carbon dioxide emitted. This in turns worsens global warming and make ice caps melt and...

But at the same time... electricity can also be obtained from renewable sources..
