REFLECTION 2005

2005 was an eventful year!

2005 was a year for new experiences and lots of learning..

First of all was my first working experience...

Working as a customer service officer has taught me many things..
Responisbility, punctuality as well as the value of money. How important savings can be. The experience of paying your own bills, enjoying the feel of being able to spend ur whole earned money. Knowing the effort spent in earning the money and sometimes, the heartache when spending the money.. I find the work experience enlightening and to a certain extent I think I have been too pampered in my younger days.. Many colleagues have actually worked before.. and I was one fo the 'blessed' few.. At the same time, I have friends who haven't worked at all.. even until this day, and I wonder how will they ever get exposure, living in their fairytale where parents can afford to pay for everything.. Hmm.. I guess we live in slightly different worlds..

After working.. and learning how the extra income can be so impt.. comes my beloved jetsetting experience.. hahah..

I travelled to Taiwan with Amanda and her poly friends for a fun filled, exciting 2 week period from May 04-May 20.. I was pretty lucky in that my Dad paid for it as a reward for my Alevel results.. tho i overspent and it came out from my own pocket.. It was an amazing experience.. buying all the comics.. but of cos.. lesson learnt is to not buy too much useless stuff... We ate, shopped, ate shopped.. that also explains the weight gain.. hahaha..

Then.. I went to Hong Kong from 09 Jun to 13 Jun to celebrate my mum's birthday too!!! It was a great shopping experience.. Hong Kong however, came out from my own pocket.. EVERYTHING.. See.. How impt a job can be.. *big big grinz*

In 2005, I also travelled to JB with Kaijun and Siow Chien!! Yeah!!! Sortof came out from my own pocket too! Bought my CNY tops already~~~ Yeah~~~ Hahahaha...

SMU has been a wonderful experience.. It's hard work but at the same time, you leanr a lot.. it mimics the corporate world of politics and work... You also learn how impt it is to pull strings and have connections.. I guess that's wat the business world is about..

So.. all in alll.. I tought it was an eventful year..
